A faunistics survey of Nemacheilidae family was carried out in Tehran’s east rivers between fall 2013 and summer 2014. For this reason, samples were collected in 12 stations and they were caught using an electro- shocker and immediately fixed in formalin and transferred to laboratory for biological experiments. The results showed two species belong to Nemacheilidae family live in Tehran’s east Rivers. Also, Paracobitis malapterus has the most frequency with 71.85% and Oxynomacheilus bergianus has the least frequency with 28.14% among the selected stations. Also statistical analysis using t test showed a significant difference between species abundance with different stations and different seasons, as well (p<0.05). According to the results of Pearson correlation coefficient test, there was a significant relationship between the total length and different stations (p<0.05). |
