Abzian-e-Zinati (Journal of Ornamental Aquatics) is not currently a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). However, the journal follows COPE best practice guidelines and adheres to international standards of scholarly publishing.
Authors’ Responsibilities:
Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
Proper citation or quotation is required when using others’ work or words.
The corresponding author ensures all co-authors have approved the final version and are aware of any potential conflicts of interest.
Plagiarism, data falsification, and inappropriate authorship credit are strictly prohibited. Manuscripts violating these standards will be rejected.
Authors may withdraw their manuscript at any stage prior to publication.
Editors’ Responsibilities:
The Editor-in-Chief has full authority to accept, reject, or request revisions based on reviewers’ reports and editorial board policies.
Decisions are based solely on originality, quality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Ethical concerns or conflicts among authors must be resolved fairly and confidentially.
Information about submitted manuscripts is strictly confidential and shared only with authorized individuals (corresponding authors, reviewers, editorial advisers, publisher).
Reviewers’ Responsibilities:
All manuscripts are confidential and must not be shared outside the review process.
Reviewers should be experts in the field, unbiased, and free of conflicts of interest.
Comments must be constructive, professional, and address both scientific and ethical aspects.
Reviews should provide the editor with sufficient context for decision-making.
Peer review should be completed promptly.

Abzian-e-Zinati enforces rigorous peer review and strict ethical standards to ensure the publication of high-quality scientific work. Suspected cases of plagiarism or other misconduct are treated with zero tolerance. The journal uses iThenticate to verify originality.
Open Access Policy:
All articles are Open Access under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY 4.0). Articles are freely available online, with no fees for readers or authors.
