Its effect on the rates of reproductive mortality, reproduction and survival rate of Poecilia reticulata were studied and evaluated. The obtained farm results show decreases the mean (±SE) significantly difference of mortality (percentage) of guppy breeding fish in feeding treatment with nauplii guard in female breeders compared to other experimental groups (p <0.05) and also increased the mean (±SE) survival rate of larvae in different treatments with significantly differences in the nutritional experimental group with live Artemia (p <0.05). Based on the results of this study, it can be suggested to use Artemia Guard and Nauplii Guard technology by replacing feeding with live and frozen Artemia in ornamental fish breeding centers. Firstly, biosafety in these centers is observed by preventing the entry of dangerous pathogens and these products are environmentally friendly. Secondly, the need to hatchery system for Artemia eliminated and thirdly, it is easy to access and easy to use.
256 Special Morphological variation of endemic species, Saadi scraper (Capoeta saadi) from the Maharlu, Persis and Kor basins of Iran Shojaie Deldar Eagderi Soheil Molodi Saleh Ata Nasri Manoochehr 1 7 2021 8 2 9 14 05 07 2021 01 07 2021 To study the morphological variation of Capoeta saadii, 15 specimens from Maharlu River (Maharlu lake basin), 15 from Shapour River (Persis basin) and 15 from Kor River (Kor river basin) were collected. In the Lab, a total of 20 morphometric traits were measured using a digital caliper. Then, standardized data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA analysis, Duncan grouping, principal component analysis (PCA), and canonical variate analysis (CVA) with p-value obtained from NPMANOVA and cluster analysis (CA). The results showed that the studied populations were significantly different in 8 morphometric traits (P<0.05). Body depth was the most effective character to discriminate the studied populations. Cluster analysis also separated the Shapour population from others. 254 Special Effect evaluation of Pediococcus acidilactici (Bactocell) as a probiotic dietary supplementation, on growth performance, intestine microbiota and skin mucus bactericidal response in zebra fish (Danio rerio) Mohammadi Arani Mojtaba k Safari Omid l Allame Sayed Kamaledin m Asadollah Nasrabadi Saeed n Mohammadi Mohammad Javad o Ashouri Ghasem p Dorafshan Salar Ahmadnia Hamid Abasi Mohammad Reza Ganjoor Mohammad Saeed k Agricultural Research, Educating and Extension Organization l Ministry of Science m Agricultural Research, Educating and Extension Organization n Ministry of Science o Ministry of Agriculture Jihad p Ministry of Science Ministry of Science Ministry of Science Ministry of Agriculture Jihad Agricultural Research, Educating and Extension Organization 1 7 2021 8 2 15 25 09 05 2021 01 07 2021 The present study was carried out to assess the effects of different levels of Pediococcus acidilactici including 0, 1 × 106, 2 × 106, 4 × 106 and 8 × 106 colony forming unit per g of the diet (cfug-1), in a completely randomized design for 60 days, on growth, intestine flora and skin mucus bactericidal response of zebra fish. The best growth indices including weight, length and specific growth rate and also the least food conversion ratio were recorded in group 4 × 106 cfug-1 (p<0.05). Also the highest number of total viable count and lactic acid bacteria of intestine were found in that group (p<0.05). The most growth inhibition zone of Aeromonas hydrophylla, Flavobacterium columnare, Vibrio anguillarum and Edwardsiella tarda were found in group 4 × 106 cfug-1 (p<0.05). Therefore, it seems that P. acidilactici as a probiotic, improves growth and immunity indices of the zebra fish and could be used as amount of 4 × 106 cfug-1 of food for this fish. 250 Special A review of the Biotechnical of commercial breeding of Zebrafish (Danio rerio) Khiabani Alireza Esteghlalian Arash University of Applied Science and Technology The manager of the Moje-sabz ornamental fish farm, Tehran, IRAN. 1 7 2021 8 2 27 41 18 04 2021 01 07 2021 Current and proposed standards for commercial breeding of Danio rerio and other ornamental fish for production in laboratories and farms are different and require indigenize with the specific conditions of each production unit. But the general framework of zebrafish farming as a popular ornamental species and laboratory model has been reviewed by bioscientists for many years and can be considered as a scientific standard and practical guide for successful and economical production of this species. Zebrafish can thrive in a variety of environmental conditions, which is a specific advantage for working with this organism. So, developing a single standard is difficult and probably not beneficial due to the flexible nature of this fish in different environmental conditions and the variety of research needs that are performed on it. Therefore, in this article, we have tried to pay attention to the most important requirements for achieving successful and commercial production of this fish. 252 Special Review on the benefits and disadvantages of nanotechnology in the aquaculture Radkhah Ali Reza Eagderi Soheil Mousavi-Sabet Hamed University of Tehran University of Tehran University of Guilan 1 7 2021 8 2 43 58 03 05 2021 01 07 2021 Nanotechnology is an emerging technology in many industries, including aquaculture sector. Although these nanoparticles are widely used in the aquaculture, the increase in their production and use has raised many concerns about their potential toxicity to human health and the environment. Therefore, the present study aims to review the benefits and disadvantages of nanotechnology in aquaculture. This work will provide a comprehensive review to better undestanding of decision-makers in aquaculture section. In this study, the role of nanotechnology and its benefits in various sectors of the aquaculture industry, such as nutrition, reproduction, water purification, fishing and health control of diseases are discussed, and then, the negative effects and toxicity. The use of these materials in rearing systems was evaluated from an ecological and environmental point of view. 257 Special Nutritional disease in aquaculture Hafezieh Mmahmoud Hafezieh Masoume 1 7 2021 8 2 59 70 06 07 2021 01 07 2021 This review was conducted to investigate the significance, underlying causes and negative effects of nutritional diseases of fish on aquaculture production and health safety. Information were collected from different secondary sources and then arranged chronologically. Investigation reveals that, Aquaculture is the largest single animal food producing agricultural sector that is growing rapidly all over the world. Nutritional disease is one of most devastating threats to aquaculture production because it is very difficult to identify nutritional diseases. Production cost get increased due to investment lost, fish mortality, treatment cost and decreased yield quality and quantity. Public health hazards are also in dangerous situation due to frequent disease outbreak and treatment involving synthetic drugs. It is very essential to control nutritional diseases to increase fish supply through aquaculture production. This study will be helpful to provide basic knowledge on nutritional diseases management in aquaculture and to raise awareness among the farmers fisheries management.
