Abstract:   (7903 Views)

Zebra fish (Danio rerio) lives in freshwaters of tropical areas. The body of this species is long,
narrow with blue and golden strips along the body. The stability of genes, high similarity of genome
to human genome, simplicity of culture, are among the advantages which caused this species to be
an idea model organism for molecular pathology related to genomic disease of human as well as
basic development. The process of zebrafish culture is simple and this species is proper for novel
developmental studies. Determination of molecular sequences in zebrafish studies revealed human
development and zebrafish has been used in modeling of different human diseases include cancer,
pancreatic and liver diseases, Alzheimer, Parkinson etc. The present paper summarized and
reviewed different aspect of zebra fish administration as model organism in human studies.

Keywords: Zebra fish, Cellular, Molecular, Scientific model, Danio rerio.
