fa توصیف ویژگی‌های ماهی جنگجوی سیامی (Betta splendens, Regan, 1910) در حوزه آبی رودخانه مکونگ تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research <p dir="RTL">ماهی فایتر، ماهی جنگجو، جنگجوی سیامی و ماهی بتا، نام­های مصطلح و مترادف ماهی زیبایی است که با نام علمی <em><span dir="LTR">Betta splendens</span></em>، به طور طبیعی در دشت­های سیلابی،کانال­ها، شالیزارها و آب­های گرمسیری و فاقد اکسیژن نواحی خاصی از جنوب<span dir="LTR">‌ </span>شرقی قاره آسیا، به ویژه حوزه آبی رودخانه مِکونگ یافت می­شود. ماهی فایتر در طبیعت دارای ویژگی­های است که با ارقام اهلی آن تمایزهایی قابل توجهی دارد. این ویژگی به استتار آن<span dir="LTR">‌</span>ها در محیط طبیعی کمک شایانی می­نماید. در این مقاله سعی گردیده است تا ضمن معرفی مختصات زیستگاه اصلی ماهی جنگجوی سیامی در حیات<span dir="LTR">‌</span>وحش، تفاوت­های مورفولوژیک میان آن با ارقام به گزینی شده و امروزی این ماهی پرداخته شود.</p> <p>The Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens), is a species that belongs to Osphronemidae family<br> which is popular as an aquarium fish. This species is native to the Mekong basin of Thailand, Laos,<br> Cambodia, and Vietnam, where it can be found in standing waters of canals, rice paddies, and<br> floodplains. Wild fish exhibit strong colors only when agitated. In the wild, bettas spar for only a<br> few minutes or before one fish backs off. Bred specifically for fighting, domesticated betta matches<br> can go on for much longer, with winners determined by a willingness to continue fighting. Once<br> one fish retreats, the match is over.
