The proliferation and cultivation of ornamental fish have dramatically increased in recent decades due to its beautiful appearance, small size and easy maintenance. Therefore, they are important for parasitic infection. In this study, 100 Asteronotus ocellatas fish were collected from Shiraz city in and in the case of contamination with protozoan parasites, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, Mxyobolus sp, Trichodina sp., Cryptobia sp., Hexamita sp. and trematodes monogenic. Dactylogyrus sp. and external parasite Lernae sp. were investigated. Different organs of the fish body were examined by conventional methods of parasitology and staining. Of the 100 Oscars, 87 cases (87%) were infected with parasites. 80% of the monohydrate, respectively, were 73% infected with the protozoa. The highest infection rates were observed in skin and gill.
