Submission Instructions & Author Guidelines
Types of Manuscripts:
- Original Research Papers, Short Communications, and Review Papers related to ornamental aquatics, aquaculture, and aquatic veterinary sciences.
- Articles are primarily in Persian, with English titles, abstracts, and keywords.
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
Manuscript Structure:
- Original Research: Title, Author(s) & affiliation(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, References.
- Short Communications: Concise reports of limited investigations; structure: Title, Author(s), Keywords, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results & Discussion, Acknowledgements, References. Max 3000 words and up to 4 figures/tables.
- Review Papers: Scholarly reviews of literature; sections: Title, Author(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction (with literature review), Discussion, Acknowledgements, References. Corresponding author must have at least three publications cited in references.
Formatting:
- Persian language, Times New Roman 12pt, double-spaced, A4, numbered pages.
- Line numbers required.
- Tables: numbered, cited in text, horizontal lines only.
- Figures: numbered, cited, min 300 DPI, black & white preferred.
Submission Process:
- Register on the journal website.
- Submit manuscript in Word format via the online system.
- After review, revise manuscript according to reviewers’ suggestions and submit with a checklist.
- Proofs sent to corresponding author for minor corrections before publication.
Peer Review:
- Double-blind system.
- Up to three reviewers per manuscript.
- Final decision by Editor-in-Chief and editorial board.
Plagiarism & Ethics:
- iThenticate screening; similarity index ≤25%.
- Manuscripts must be original; prior publication or simultaneous submission elsewhere is prohibited.
- Copyright: No reproduction without written permission from Editor-in-Chief.
